According to the CDC, only one in ten adults reaches the daily intake of fruits and vegetables. A low consumption of these can lead to an increased risk of disease, inflammation, and constipation(Source).
The lack of time and resources to cook healthy meals and over-reliance on fast, convenient food means most of us are not getting the nutrients we need daily.
Also, the rise of wellness trends and the influence of social media have further fuelled the demand for super green powders and all-in-one powder supplements.
Fitness influencers and health experts often tout their benefits for boosting energy, enhancing mental clarity, and improving overall vitality, making them a staple in many health-conscious households.
In this article, we’ll review the differences between the recently released IM8 Health vs Supergreen Tonik so you can make an informed decision.
What Is Supergreen Tonik?
Adam Wright developed Supergreen Tonik to help him combat chronic fatigue syndrome (CFS). Frustrated by the lack of transparency in greens powders, in conjunction with a US nutritional and manufacturing team, produced a super greens, adaptogen, superfood, vitamins and mineral blend.
Supergreen Tonik is a comprehensive superfood supplement with 38 ingredients, including organic greens like spirulina, chlorella, and moringa, alongside a brain and immune blend for total body health.
Supergreen Tonik has been compared to AG1 in terms of the benefits and price point but differs in terms of the focus on fewer ingredients in transparent dosages. This is the case here when comparing to IM8.

IM8 vs. Supergreen Tonik: Benefits
There are many similar benefits across IM8 Health and Supergreen Tonik. IM8 makes more extensive benefit claims due to the inclusion of more ingredients in its formula. We will look in more detail at the ingredients and, importantly, dosages below.
Supergreen Tonik Benefits
Supergreen Tonik promotes four core benefits: improved immunity, better energy, improved mental clarity, and restful sleep. The ingredients in the formula support many other benefits, such as:
- Improved digestion & gut health
- Reduced fatigue
- Reduced brain fog
- Reduced body inflammation
- Improved circulation and blood flow
- Removing heavy metals
- Better skin
- Reduction in stress levels and promote feelings of calm
- Better mental clarity
- Longer-term brain health
The formula is split into greens, brain, and immune blends to support health in the whole body and mind.
IM8 Health Benefits
IM8 Health promises that one scoop provides a source of essential nutrients to support immunity, energy, and the health of your heart, brain, and digestive system.
What makes IM8 stand out from greens supplements because it includes electrolytes and CRT8™️ Cell Rejuvenation Technology, combining resveratrol and astaxanthin to encourage autophagy and fight oxidative stress.
The electrolytes include magnesium glycinate, which is effective for sleep. It needs to be clarified how much magnesium is in the blend; we know that dosages make the difference.
IM8 vs. Supergreen Tonik: Ingredients
IM8 and Supergreen Tonik formulas contain essential vitamins, minerals, antioxidants, superfoods, greens, and adaptogens. IM8 also includes pre-pro-post-biotics and clinical dosages of CoQ10 and MSM.

Supergreen Tonik has 38 different ingredients designed to give you precisely what you need. There are three main blends in the Supergreen Tonik formula:
- Green blend
- Nootropics blend
- Immune blend
The green blend contains all organic ingredients. The ingredients in this blend are spirulina, collard greens, spinach leaf, barley grass powder, chlorella, and horseradish tree leaf.
All of these ingredients are high in antioxidants and nutrients that can help reduce inflammation in the body and the risk of chronic illness.
For the nootropics blend, you can find ingredients like ashwagandha, L-theanine, ginko leaf powder, bacopa herb extract, and Rhodiola extract.
The combination of ashwagandha and Rhodiola extract creates a powerful stress relief combination. As a result, it can help promote good sleep. Remember that a good night’s sleep is essential for recovery and weight loss. (Source)
Finally, when it comes to the immune blend is made with dandelion leaf, garlic bulb, olive leaf extract, and black pepper fruit extract.
Olive leaf and garlic seem to have antibacterial properties, and dandelion leaf can help reduce inflammation which helps increase the immune system.
Supergreen Tonik contains 22 vitamins and minerals like vitamin A, vitamin C, vitamin D, vitamin E, vitamin K, thiamin, riboflavin, niacin, folate, vitamin B12, vitamin B6, biotin, pantothenic acid, calcium, zinc, selenium, iron, copper, magnesium, sodium, and potassium.
Why no probiotics?
The lack of probiotics and digestive enzymes is a noticeable omission in the Supergreen Tonik formula. This is not an oversight, though, and not included simply because these nutrients are incredibly delicate and tend to become inert in multi-ingredient formulas.
This is why Human Tonik has a separate supplement called Synbio Tonik that contains 5g of prebiotic fiber and 6 billion CFU probiotics in a tasty berry lemonade powder. You can combine both greens and probiotics in our bundle.
IM8 Daily Ultimate Essentials
IM8 Health promises to eliminate the need for 16 separate supplements by containing 92 ingredients in one drink. This is more than the ingredients in other all-in-one supplements on the market, such as AG1 and Huel Daily Greens.
You can see all the ingredients above on the IM8 supplement facts label.
The ingredients are broken down:
- 27 Vitamins and minerals
- 24 Raw superfoods, greens, fruits & herbs (4,100mg)
- 4 Electrolytes (2,500mg)
- 11 Essential Amino Acids (1,165mg)
- 12 Digestive enzymes, adaptogens, mushrooms (200mg)
- One joint and muscle nutrient in the form of MSM (1,000mg)
- One heart heat ingredient in the form of Coenzyme Q10 (100mg)
- Two probiotics (84mg / 10 billion CFU)
- One postbiotics as FloraSmart (25mg)
- 8 Cell Rejuvenation technology (25mg)
There is a good range of nutrients in IM8, but we’re concerned whether they are sufficient quantities to give the health benefits claimed.
We have highlighted the importance of ingredient dosage, and when looking through the different blends, it’s clear many will be in insufficient amounts. Let’s look at a few of the blends in more detail.
Raw superfoods, greens, fruits & herbs
This is the biggest blend and makes up the bulk of the serving size, with 24 ingredients in total for the 4,100mg weight. With proprietary blends, the ingredients must be listed in terms of the largest to the smallest in the blend.
So, the fiber (Guar and Inulin) make up is the most significant part of this blend compared to sea moss and grape seed extract.
The fiber content of the serving is 3g in total, so it’s fair to say that most of this will be from this blend. It’s fair to assume 2g of fiber is in the raw superfoods blend, then 22 ingredients are left for 2g in the formula – not much!
Digestive/Adaptogen/Mushroom blend
Considering the choice of ingredients in this blend, they will surely be underdosed, according to the research.
For example, looking at the is a tiny 200mg in weight. The research on Ashwagandha alone highlights that a minimum dosage of 300mg daily is required.
The same example can be made with Rhodiola with Examine, highlighting the fatigue and anti-stress benefits are within the 288-680 mg range. However, there are some reported health benefits at 50mg per day. IM8 fails to show the dosage, but it’s clear it’s much less than the 288mg.
IM8 vs. Supergreen Tonik: Cost
Both of these brands are at the premium end and reflect the quantity and quality of the ingredients in their formulas.

Supergreen Tonik offers several purchasing options:

Three-month supply (three jars): $227 total, equating to $75.67 per tub ($2.52 per serving).

Why Choose Supergreen Tonik?
So, if you had to choose between David Beckham’s IM8 and Supergreen Tonik, which one is the best for you?
While IM8 is undoubtedly more than a greens supplement, promoting itself as an actual “all-in-one” supplement, but it lacks the transparency of ingredient dosages of Supergreen Tonik. This makes it impossible to assess the effectiveness of the ingredient dosages in the formula.
Considering the sheer number of ingredients, it is likely many of the ingredients are underdosed in scientifically significant amounts.
A simple comparison of Supergreen Tonik’s 38 ingredients vs IM8’s 92 ingredients in the identical serving size of 12gms highlights this point!
This is the reason why Human Tonik took the approach of fewer ingredients in higher, transparent dosages is the only way to produce a truly effective supplement.
